Australia’s exports
The value of Australian exports in September fell by more than s6om from the August figure, according to statistics released by the Bureau of Statistics. Food and I live animals were the biggest ;money . earners, earning $ 188.690 m, but crude materials, including some minerals worth more than slslm, are included in the 1973 figure. Japan remained by far Australia’s best customer, taking more than onethird of the total value of exports, her purchases being valued at $182.724m. —Canberra, Jan. 4.
