Mr R. J. Burkitt, of New Plymouth, has been appointed to the Natural Gas Corporation. He succeeds Mr A. R. Wright, who has retired. Mr Burkitt is president of the Gas Association and managing director of R. J. Burkitt, I Ltd, a farm machinery firm. Mr T. S. Kotlowski, district commissioner of apprenticeships for the Department of Labour in Christchurch for the last three years, will retire at the end of the month. Previously Mr Kotlowski was an industrial inspector for the department for 25 years.
