Gift to I.H.C.
An anonymous gift of $10.39 for the Intellectually Handicapped Childrens’ Society was left at the Ashburton branch office of “The Press” yesterday. The money, in 2c and 1c coins, was 'in an attractively deccrated iar. On receiving the gift, the administrator of the Ashburton branch of the I.H.C, (Mr N Garden) expressed gratitude at the spirit which had prompted the gift.
