Trotting clubs throughout New Zealand received 51.167.897 as their share of the profits of the Totalisator Agency Board for the 1972-73 season, according to figures collated by the Trotting Conference.

During the season 148 permits were used, compared with 133 the previous season when the pay-out from the T.A.B. amounted to $1,031,534. This year’s average payout was $7891. compared with $7755.80, although a large number of clubs received less on a daily basis than for the previous year.
