Trampers in hospital

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. A woman and four children required hospital treatment for exposure after a tramping party from the Pesbyterian Bible class camp at Hunua was caught in the bush in bad weather. The party, which consisted of 40 boys and girls, aged between 12 and 13, and five adults, set out from the camp for Crossey Creek on Wednesday. The weather became cold and wet. Early in the afternoon at Crossey Creek one of the adults, a woman, collapsed. Four of the children complained of feeling exhausted. An ambulance was called, and all five were taken to Middlemore Hospital, None was seriously ill.
