SUSPENSION APPEAL

(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Nov. 13. The two officers yesterday suspended by the Northland Harbour Board, the general manager, Mr D. B. Cunneen, and the internal auditor, Mr A. G. McHugh, today appealed against the decision. Their appeal, under section [ 45 of the Harbours Act, 1950,; was lodged with the board’s secretary, Mr J. R. Crispin, this afternoon. Messrs Cunneen and McHugh said that when they asked the reason for their suspensions, they were told they would get it, in writing, later.
