Royal procession

6V.Z.P.A.-Reuter — Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 14. After the ceremony, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips emerged, past the flashing of cameras, to the steps of Westminster Abbey and the cheers of the crowd. Captain Phillips climbed first into the Glass Coach, and grinned as Princess Anne pulled the long train in behind her and gathered it. The families of both waved as the four grey horses pulled the coach away from the Abbey to the cheers of thousands. BELLS PEALING The bells of the Abbey were pealing as the Glass Coach moved slowly around Parliament Square, along Whitehall, through the eighteenth century’ arch at Horseguards Parade and on to The Mall. They were followed by a

State landau carrying Lady Armstrong-Jones, Prince Edward, Captain Grounds, and Princess Anne’s lady-in-waiting, Mary Dawnay. Ten minutes later came the Queen, Prince Philip, and Prince Andrew in the Scottish State Coach, and the

Queen Mother and Prince Charles in the Irish State Coach. Next, in Queen Alexandra’s State coach, were Mr Peter Phillips and Mrs Ann Phillips, riding for the first time in Royal procession. Princess Anne waved happily, and her husband slightly diffidently, as the Glass Coach moved through the large crowds outside Buckingham Palace. The coach pulled up at the marble entrance hall in the courtyard. i Captain Phillips climbed out first, then turned and took his bride’s arm, as they moved through the doorway and into the Palace. UP EARLY This morning, Princess Anne was reported to have been up before 8.0, and to have had breakfast with her brothers, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew, in their nursery in the front of the Palace. Prince Charles, celebrating his twenty-fifth birthday today, also looked in.
