Molloy on Yamaha

The New Zealand senior T.T. champion, W. Molloy (Hamilton), seems certain to ride Yamaha racers this road season. He is currently in dispute with the Kawasaki factory fbr not reimbursing him his expenses after winning the Singapore grand prix on a 750 H2R. Molloy used a 350 water-cooled Yamaha to win the New Zealand T.T. title at Auckland and there are rumours that he will be mounted on one of the new 750 water-cooled Yamaha two-strokes later this season. . His 750 Kawasaki racer has been sold to an Australian sponsor, Mr P. Carson. It will probably be ridden by the Australian rider, R. Hinton, in the Pacific Cup international series. Molloy rode a 500 Kawasaki into runner-up position in the 1970 world 500 c.c. championship.
