The body of a man car struck a tree and plunged into the Avon River at Dallington on Monday evening was recovered yesterday afternoon. He was Robert John Simpson, aged 24, of 4 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. Seven police skin-divers searched the river before finding the body about 3.30 p.m., close to where the car had gone in.
