Conference in Bangkok
A Christchurch man has been invited to present a
paper to the seventh conference of Asian and Pacific accountants in Bangkok next week.
Dr R. W. Hopkins, a senior lecturer in accounting at the University of Canterbury, will address the conference on the social implications of j large companies. Dr Hopkins is one of three members of the New Zealand Society of Accountants who will attend the conference of 21 nations from November 4 to 10. The others are the society’s president, Mr E. A. Craig, of Tauranga, and its secretary, Mr K. R. MacDonald, of Wellington.
