(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright! SYDNEY, October 30. The New Zealand longdistance runner, D. G. Cameron, expects to reach Melbourne tomorrow afternoon, 11 days after setting out from Sydney on the 658-mile journey. Cameron this morning was at Morwell, 144 miles northeast of Melbourne on the Prince Highway. He expects to spend the night at Pakenham, 86 miles closer to his destination. A spokesman for Cameron said today that Cameron would set off again at 3 a.m. tomorow so that he could reach the Melbourne Post Office some time between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. If he can do this, Cameron will break the previous record for the SydneyMelbourne run set by the Irish-born runner, A. Rafferty, by six days. Cameron has been averaging about 60 miles a day on the run so far.
