SHEEP IN STABLE
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PARIS. The idea of giving a highlystrung racehorse a sheep as stable companion to help calm the horse’s nerves is becoming popular among French trainers. The champion filly, Allez France, has a sheep as Inseparable companion, both in her box and in her van when she travels. Unfortunately, as often happens with very good friends, when Allez France is in a bad mood she takes it out on her pal. The top four-year-old. Dobermann, has calmed down a lot since a sheep named Roseliere became his living and travelling companion.
