Tanker driver killed

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, Oct. 30. ! The driver of an empty oil tanker was killed when his vehicle left the Napier-Taupo highway about half a mile south of the Te Pohue Post Office about 10.30 last night. He was Thomas Henry Macßae, aged 39. of Pirimai. Tractors reduced. — Prices of all tractors marketed by Ford New Zealand have been reduced an average of $2OO. The manager of the company’s tractor division (Mr J. Oulton) said the reduction resulted from New Zealand’s currency revaluation.—(P.A.)
