Games bid changes
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. Illness has forced a Commonwealth Games prospect. Mary Boath, to change her race plans from the 800 metres to the 400 metres. Miss Boath said that she was just about right until she caught the Hu two weeks ago and now her training programme has been put back. “It will not take long to come right, but now 1 will probably run the 400 metres at the New Zealand championships at. Queen Elizabeth II Park, on November 30 and December 1.”
