250 FEARED DROWNED
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) DACCA (Bangladesh), October 12. More than 250 people are feared to have drowned when a motorlaunch capsized after a midstream collision last night with another launch. Officials in Dacca said 50 persons swam to safety. The collision occurred in the Brahmaputra River, near the town of Munshiganj, about 13 miles south-west of Dacca.
