Grant for Games team
; iN.Z Press Assn.— Copyright) j j CANBERRA. The Australian team to the [Commonwealth Games has I been granted $35,000 towards expenses. The Minister for Tourism and Recreation (Mr Frank Stewart) said he hoped that the grant would contribute considerably to the successful preparation and participation of the Australian team for the Games in Christi church. The grant represents a big increase on previous grants. For the last four British Commonwealth Games the Government's contribution was $16,000.
