Okains Bay Museum building approval
Plans to build a 2100 sq. ft museum behind the old dairy factory at Okains Bay were approved by the Akaroa County Council yesterday.
A permit to build was t. issued to Mr M. Thacker, who has played the major part in converting the facjitory propertv for museum i purposes. i| The County Engineer (Mr »|K. Paulin) said that a mu- . [ seum trust was being formed, s and so the council made no -! charge for the permit.
