Dollar again easier

The New Zealand dollar was again sharply weaker in the foreign exchange markets last week, in line with the weakness of the U.S. dollar, to which our currency is pegged. Sterling continued its recent firming trend. Only Canadian and Hong Kong dollars, and Italian lire eased against the dollar.
