Sir—As the Ministry of [Transport encourages the use of dipped headlights in day- ’ light it is surprising that traffic officers on motor-cycles ,do not set an example to [other motor-cyclists who have 'yet to appreciate the extra safety given by taking this
precaution, particularly during winter months.—Yours MOTORIST. May 24, 1973.
