“The Press” Special Service CAMBRIDGE. Christchurch Boys’ High School and Christ’s College both won places in the final six crews to contest the Maadi Cup in the New Zealand secondary schools’ rowing championships at Lake Karapiro yesterday.

Christchurch easily won its repecharge after finishing second behind Wanganui Collegiate in a heat. A strong bid through the i middle stages gave Christ- : church a length lead and it held off late challenges from Auckland Grammar and St Paul’s Collegiate (Hamilton) in the first repecharge.
