Lamb up 1c a lb
In a mid-week announcement meat operators have increased prices for all grades and weights of lamb meat to the farmer by 1c per lb. The increases are effective from last Monday. Prices are now from 7.8 c per lb to 10.4 c higher than they were a year ago. The new rates are: Prime—2o to 281 b, 22.8 c [ per lb; 29 to 361 b, 22.8 c; 37 to I 1421 b, 20.2 c; 431 b and over. 118.3 c. Fair average quality—2o to 281 b, 21.8 c: 29 to 361 b, 21.8 c; |37lb and over. 18.4 c. « Omega—2o to 281 b, 20.8 c; 29 to 361 b, 19.7 c. ' Alpha—l9.7c.
