Amputees' aid pleas
Removal of part of the purchase tax on vehicles which are bought for amputees will be sought in a remit which is to be considered by the annual Dominion conference of the
Civilian Amputees’ Association in Christchurch thisi I week-end. The 10 sub-associations! ■throughout New Zealand will ■be represented by 24 dele-1 igates. The delegates will be. addressed by a Christchurch surgeon. Mr J. W. Ardagh. on failing circulation in limbs,! ,and the Mayoress of Christchurch (Mrs A. H. Pickering) ■ jon the work of the Coordinating Council for the! Handicapped.
