STUDENTS’ BOARD
Private board for overseas students due in Christchurch before the beginning of March is still very short, the University of Canterbury’s accommodation officer (Miss A. F. Borrie) said yesterday. Miss Borrie said that at least 60 beds were still needed. The final number would depend on certain academic passes.
“Until the students know if they have passed their Cambridge Certificate examinations they don’t really know whether they can come to New Zealand or not,” she said.
“We have managed to find enough places for New Zealand students,” said Miss Borrie.
