Two acres of land on the Main North Road 20 miles from Christchurch were sold at auction for $15,000. Improvements include a twobedroom, weatherboard house and a garage. The Government valuation is $5600 and the auctioneer was Mr L. B. Allan, for Matson and Allan. A large, weatherboard house on 30.2 perches at 368 Armagh Street converted into four flats was sola at auction for $20,000 yesterday. The Government valuation of the property is $9600. The auctioneer was Mr J. Dyer, for George Anderson and Soty Ltd.
