Tyre life
Sir, —If your correspondent; “Tyred Out” happens to be i the nit-wit who daily cuts out | the journey from Akaroa toj Christchurch in approxi- i mately one hour, thereby becoming a menace to all and sundry, may I say, in all fairness to tyre manufacturers, that outside the racing circuits tyres have not yet been designed to withstand the rigours of this journey. If this driver continues in the same fashion for much longer, he must surely not be “tyred out,” but—Yours, etc., BOXED IN. February 15, 1973.
