Mr D. R. Penman, who is studying at Washington State University for a Ph.D. in entomology, has been appointed lecturer in entomology at Lincoln College. Mr Penman, who graduated from Lincoln; M.Agr.Sc. in entomology in, 1970, will take up the post in May. Mr Rolland O’Regan, a retired surgeon, of Wellington, has been elected to the council of the New Zealand Neurological Foundation, formed in 1971 to initiate research into disorders of the brain and the central nervous system. Mr O’Regan has been president of the New Zealand Cancer Society, and a member of the Medical Research [Council.
