New double
"The Press’’ Special Service WANGANUI. A novel on-course double, believed to be the first of its type in New Zealand, will be introduced by the Wanganui Jockey Club when the summer meeting opens tomorrow. The double will be held on the divided Kai Iwi Maiden, and patrons will attempt to select the winners of both divisions. It will be a true double, and patrons will nominate their fancies for each division at the one time The secretary (Mr I. Boyland) explained that the unique betting medium will be a straight i double.
