S NOTIFICATION OF WEIGHT AND SPEED LIMITS ON BRIDGE NO. 11 ROADS DISTRICT: STATE HIGHWAYS HEAVY MOTOR VEHICLE REGULATIONS. 1969. REGULATION 11 NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to regulation 11 (3) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations. 1969. the National Roads Board has fixed the following maximum weight and speed limits for heavy motor vehicles and combinations including a heavy motor vehicle on the bridge described hereunder: NAME OF HIGHWAY S.H. 6: Blenheim-Invercargill NAME OF BRIDGE Matakitaki River Bridge WEIGHT LIMITSSingle axles 14,2001 b. 65 per cent of the weights allowed on a Class I road. Attention is drawn to the scale of infringement fees rising to 8400 per axle and $5OO for groups of axles for infringement of these limits. SPEED LIMIT: Maximum speed limit 5 miles an hour. WELLINGTON. 5099 GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL EXTENSION OF CLOSED FIRE SEASON PUBLIC NOTICE is given under Section 19 of the Forest and Rural Fire Act. 1955, that the lighting of fires In the open in the whole of the Geraldine County area is prohibited from Thursday, February 1. 1973, to Saturday. March 31. 1973. unless this restriction is revoked or otherwise varied.

The only exceptions to this I notice will be that fires may be lit in the open between the hours of 6 p.m and 10 p.m. each I dav. and that permits will not be required during those hours. Any -person wishing to light a fire in the open outside the permitted hours must obtain a special permit from the undersigned, such permits will only be issued in exceptional circumstances. Fire Wardens will no longer issue permits to light fires in a closed fire season. However, they will be available for advice and policing duties. While this order Is in force no person shall set on fire or cause to be set on fire in the open air any trees, timber bracken, gorse lupins, grass, stubble, or other plants or debris from forest or land clearing operations or any other combustible material whatsoever. except within the permitted hours or pursuant to a written permit issued by the undersigned. Possession of a permit or lighting a fire within the permitted hours in no way relieves the person lighting a fire from the full responsibility of keeping the fire under control. Authority to bum during permitted hours or following the Issue of a written permit is automatically cancelled if the N.Z. Forest Service invokes Section 18 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act. 1955. and thereby prohibits the lighting of all fires in the onen.
