Meeting on exports
Exporters of manufactured products will meet the Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Walding) in Wellington next Thursday to discuss ways and means of implementing the Government’s drive for increased exports. The meeting has been arranged by the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation. The Canterbury Manufacturer’s Association will be represented by the president (Mr E. P. Chapman) and the chairman of the export division (Mr J. R. Maddren). Export incentives, shipping, trade promotion and future trade missions and delegations will be among items for discussion.
