L.B.J. RANCH SPLIT UP
(N Z PA.-Reuter —Copyright) | AUSTIN, Feb. 2. , Most of the late President Johnson’s L.B.J. ranch, near Austin, Texas, was sold yesterday to an Oklahoma real estate company for an undisclosed sum. The firm bought 3104 acres of the ranch in a transaction that was started before Mr Johnson’s death on January 22. Mr Johnson’s widow, Mrs Lady Bird Johnson, retains the ranch house and 340 acres surrounding it until her death, when it will be deeded to the National Park Service. The price of the ranch will not be announced until probate formalities have been completed.
