(N.Z. Press Association) H/XMILTON. The top priced yearling sold at the Waikato sales on Wednesday was an Indian Order—Trueloch colt which fell to a bid of $BOOO It was incorrectly reported in a Press Association message from Hamilton that the top price for the sale was $6OOO for a Battle Waggon colt. The $BOOO paid for the Indian Order colt was a record for the Waikato sales. The colt, a chestnut, is from the second crop of his sire which stands at Loa Hall Stud, Matamata and is the ninth foal of his dam. A half brother to True Crest, the colt was purchased by Wrlghtson-NMA on behalf of Mr L. Sullivan, of Whangarci.
