STUD RAM FAIR ENTRIES
The entry of rams for the Canterbury stud ram and ewe fair, which will be held at the Show Grounds on February 1 and 2, is very similar to last year, although it has the distinction of probably being the biggest that the association has ever had. The total is 480, compared with 468 last year, and there is no marked change in the representation of breeds. TTiere are 18 more Romneys and 11 more Corriedaies and 15 less Border Leicesters. and these are probably the main changes. The mutton breeds will be sold on the first day and there are 247 of these rams, compared with 244 last year. The wool breed rams, which will come up on the second day, total 233. compared with 224 a year ago. The ram sale will begin each day at 11 a.m. The ewe sale each day starts at 9 a.m. For the sale of mutton breeds on the first day the tally is 292. compared with 468
