STUD RAM FAIR ENTRIES

The entry of rams for the Canterbury stud ram and ewe fair, which will be held at the Show Grounds on February 1 and 2, is very similar to last year, although it has the distinction of probably being the biggest that the association has ever had. The total is 480, compared with 468 last year, and there is no marked change in the representation of breeds. TTiere are 18 more Romneys and 11 more Corriedaies and 15 less Border Leicesters. and these are probably the main changes. The mutton breeds will be sold on the first day and there are 247 of these rams, compared with 244 last year.
