Theft from house
An elderly woman pensioner had $llO stolen from: the kitchen of her home in' Vincent Place, Opawa. yes- : terday afternoon. The money I was taken in a purse which I was later found concealed in the wash-house. The theft occurred while the woman was in another room of the house resting. The thief entered the house through an unlocked back door about 2.45 p.m.
Detectives are also investigating the theft of about $lO3 from the Lord and Lady Boutique in Chancery Lane between 1.30 and 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon.
The cash was taken from a bank bag which had been left in a changing room.
