Press Association’ „ WELLINGTON The visiting New South Wales Colts eight proved too strong for senior crews in the Norton Cup rowing regatta on Wellington harbour on Saturday Rowing a precise. clipped style, it soon took control from Wellington In the senior eights and after the halfway mark was never challenged.
In the end the colts coasted home seven lengths ahead of a st-ong-finishing Petrin.- crew t mishap forced Wellington out of the race when it lost it. No. 7 man overboard and Star edged out Porirua for third place.
