- (N.Z. Press Association • HASTINGS. The Olympic swimmer. Miss H. Coombridge, provided one of the highlights iof the North Island carnival lat Hastings on Saturday ievening when she came within o.3sec of her national 100 metres freestyle record. ;She easily won the event in ■lmin 3.4 sec.
