A’.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA. Dec. 10.

A housing administrator and an architect will leave Australia on Tuesday for New York to assist in a United Nations project to examine the problems of “squatter housing” in Asia. Dr B. S. Saini, the professor of architecture-elect of the University of Queensland, and Dr R, Mendelsohn, first I assistant secretary in the 'Commonwealth Department 'of Housing, will take part in an extensive survey and advice programme being conducted by the United Nations' Housing Centre. “Squatter housing” happens when people migrating from the country to big cities are unable to obtain housing and settle on whatever land they can find, building shanties.
