Three-ship order

A £25 million contract for three vessels from Norwegian Bulk Carriers (N.8.C.), of Oslo, brings the total value of ships on order from Harland and Wolff of Belfast, Northern Ireland, to some £l4O million. The yard has already built four ships for the company, three of 76,000 tons and one of 100,000 tons. Each of the new vessels will be of nearly 118,000 tons. Diesel-powered, they are due for delivery between 1974 and 1976. The yard at present has three ships under construction — two of them 264,000-ton tankers.
