Truman a little better

(N.Z.PA.-Reuter—Copyright) KANSAS CITY, Dec. 8.

Ex-President Harry Truman, aged 88, was still on the critical list in hospital in Kansas City today, although his condition has shown improvement over the last 24 hours.

A spokesman for the hospital where Mr Truman was admitted on Tuesday with congestion of the lungs, said that while he remained critically iIL his vital signs were stable. He is being fed intravenously and oxygen is being administered,” he said.
