No change to honours
tN.Z. Preu AuoctaUon) WELLINGTON, Nov. 8. The Prime Minister (Mr Kirk) said today that the new Government would not be concerned about the New Year’s Honours List. The National Government had already forwarded the list to the Queen. He said that the Labour Party had no policy for the abolition of honours. However, it had for a long time considered that they should be more relevant to New Zealand.
