LANSDOWNE LADY 4 a shaker of broken ice | giU (li fl. oz) gin 1 gill (11 fl. oz) orange squash 1 gill (2| fl. oz) dry sherry Cocktail cherries Shake the ingredients well with the ice, strain into glasses and serve with a cherry. (Makes 2 cocktails.) DRY MARTINI COCKTAIL 2 parts French vermouth 1 part dry gin Cracked ice Stuffed olives or lemon rind Shake the vermouth and gin together with some cracked ice in a shaker. Pour into glasses and float a stuffed olive or a curl of lemon rind on top of each. The proportions of a Martini are a matter of personal taste; some people prefer 2 parts of gin to 1 of vermouth, others equal parts of gin and vermouth. PINEAPPLE AND ORANGE COCKTAIL Mix together 1 part pineapple juice, 3 parts orange juice and 2 parts water
