TINWALD SALE REPORT
Values improve on last week’s The yarding of prime sheep was again short at this week’s Tinwald sale, and values' were up on last week’s sale. Prime lambs were selling better than last week, the best realising $9.60. Ewes also were up on last week because of the increased schedule, a number of sales making $6. Values were:— Best hoggets (shorn), $lO to $11.80; best butchers’ lambs, $8.60 to $9.60; four-tooth ewes, $8 to $9.05; best youn gewes, up to $8.95; butchers’ ewes, up to $6.75. Store section A good yarding of store lambs came forward, the sale being firm on last week. Values were: Best Down cross lambs, $6 to $6.70; medium Down cross lambs, $5.40 to $5.90; small lambs, to A pen of Romney lambs made $7. A line of mixed-aged woolly ewes made $B.BO. Shorn mixed-aged ewes, $7.15; rape ewes made from $4 to $4.90.
