Chathams flights Further special flights to the Chatham Islands will be made over the DecemberJanuary holiday period, the Secretary for Internal Affairs (Mr P. J. O’Dea) said yesterday. Although two additional flights had already been put on for the islands’ school children over the Christmas holidays more were still required, said Mr O’Dea. The extra flights are: Christchurch - Chathams - Wellington on December 15; and between Wellington and the Chathams and return on December 20, January 3 and 26.
