Cholera scare false alarm
(N.Z P.A.‘Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, Dec. 7. Three cholera suspects who had been on an overseas airline flight to Australia were now known to be suffering from severe gastroenteritis, not cholera, the Commonwealth Health Department reported today. The cholera-like symptoms shown by the three passengers—two women and a girl, aged seven—could have been caused by food poisoning, the department said.
