Lamb meat rises
Meat operators announced an increase in the lamb meat schedule on Tuesday. It is backdated to Monday and involves an increase of 0.7 c per lb on all weights and grades. The new prices are:— Prime.—2o to 281 b, 22c per lb; 29 to 361 b, 20c; 37 to 421 b, 17.9 c; 431 b and over, 16c. Fair average quality.—2o to 281 b, 20c; 29 to 361 b, 19.6 c; 371 b and over, 16.1 c. Omega.—2o to 281 b, 20c; 29 to 361 b, 17.9 c. Alpha.—l7.9c. Beef price up, too There has been an Increase tn the price of boner bull beef and f.a.q. ox beef. The rates for boner beef are up by $1.50 to 32 per 1001 b and for f.a.q. ox by JI. The new rates are:— F.a.q. ox—s2B. Boner bull—l, $26.50; 2, $3O; 3, $29. , ,
