Early talks sought
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 5. Britain would seek early consultations with the new governments of Australia and New Zealand on their attitudes towards the defence arrangements in South-east Asia, said British officials today. Specifically, the British Government would want clarification of the two countries policies as they affect the future of the five-Power Commonwealth agreement for the defence of Singapore and Malaysia, and the Southeast Asian Treaty Organisation.
