Competition for mural

Quentin MacFarlane, of Christchurch, is one of five major New Zealand artists invited to submit mural designs for a $3OOO commission in the Hamilton Founders Memorial Theatre. The others are Ralph Hotere, of Dunedin, Colin McCahon, of Auckland, Para Matchitt, of Hamilton, and Ray Thorbum, of Palmerston North. A spokesman for the judging panel, Mr E. L.
