Sponsor for chess
In recognition of the growth of chess in New Zealand, the A.N.Z. Bank will sponsor an open chess congress in Auckland on February 24 and 25. Invitations will be sent to members of the New Zealand team which performed with credit at the last world championship and to other prominent players.
