FINAL OF TENNIS
Okker and Ashe win (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ROME. T. Okker (Netherlands) and A. R. Ashe (United States) yesterday advanced to the semi-finals of the $50,000 World Championship Tennis final tournament. Okker rallied from 2-5 down in the first set to defeat his doubles partner, M. Riessen (United States), 7-6, 6-4.
Ashe, serving well and maintaining the sharp form which carried him to victory in the W.C.T. tournament at Rotterdam last week, beat N. Pilic (Jugoslavia), 7-6, 6-1. Okker will meet Ashe, and C. Drysdale (South Africa) will play R. Lutz (United States) in the semi-finals tomorrow.
