No 'Silence' ruling
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, Nov. 24. An Auckland lawyer whose car was damaged in an explosion on Thursday said today that the Law Society had made no ruling about his not discussing the matter with the press. “The society neither instructed me nor refused me permission to comment,” said Mr E. P. Leary, of Parnell. He was commenting on a report, published today, that he had been instructed bj' the Law Society to say nothing about the incident.
“This being a police matter, it would have been quite inappropriate for me to make any disclosures,” Mr Leary said tonight.
