Alcoholism project
An alcoholism research unit will be established in Glasgow with the aid of an £84,000 grant from a distilling firm. The main lines of research will be directed towards ascertaining the contribution of the abuse of alcohol to ill-health, and the detection of those tit risk at an early stage.—Glasgow, November 7;
